Trust thought for today - Expectation - trusted to do what...

Trust is a lot about expectation fulfilled. Here is a very interesting review of a book about our changing expectations of healthcare, the difficulties of keeping up with them and good ideas about what to do about it.

Nothing specifically about trust, but based on some of the work I am doing on trust and healthcare at the moment, it is conceivable we distrust healthcare for something it was not designed or able to do. Or it fails to be trustworthy because its design is so constrained by a certain type of narrow expectation of what it is and isn't supposed to do it loses public trust.

Looks an interesting read.
