How Trusting (or Distrusting) Colours your Subsequent Interpretations

Trust thought for today. The starting point of who you trust or distrust colours how you interpret words, deeds, images.

Take this pic:

* Do you see police manhandling an innocent woman attending a vigil for a murdered girl, which in the context of the new crime bill is a leading indicator of a 'descent into fascism'?

* Do you see police trying to deal lawfully with a covid rule-breaking protest which even its organisers asked them not to hold?

* Do you see a deliberate but legitimate stunt by protestors hacking a peaceful protest to make a point about violence to women & or the new crime bill which will ensure it be widely covered by the media?

* Do you see media making whatever point they want to make about women, police, government, regardless of the real story?

* Do you see an actress looking to make her name creating an intervention which will get her on social media to help her career?

* Do you see a tricky situation which got out of hand all round but doesn't signify anything in particular?

Perhaps a bit of all these (minus the fascism, which this most certainly isn't though the Crime Bill is flawed & undemocratic)

Or ...

Showing also the importance of suspending that instant judgement until further evidence from trustworthy sources is available.
