Trustworthiness and Procedural Justice

Trust thought for today is the result of comparing our 7 Signals of Trustworthiness with the tenets of Procedural Justice and how to apply this approach to Tech Governance.

The Irish Abortion Referendum is the poster-child for those advocating the important of citizen engagement in important policy decisions. The focus is usually on the referendum as a methodology - but it was much more than a simple referendum, there was a deeply thoughtful process behind that. The result of which was that though not everyone was happy with the result, its legitimacy as a decision-making process was almost unanimously supported.

Having some fun chats with different science and tech governance professionals - looks like this will be a focus of my next phase of work. Exciting.
