The trust iceberg!

Trust thought for today is about earning trust and what it takes - being trustworthy and providing evidence of trustworthiness. (And showing off my latest gorgeous graphic from Aine Cassidy!)

Your work on being trustworthy will happen mainly below the surface with many small day-to-day acts of trustworthiness aligned to the 7 Signals. But as Onora O'Neill reminds us, providing evidence of that trustworthiness is also important. (New work to come on what that might look like and how it differs to PR).

But your organisation doesn't exist in pristine isolation from the world. Understanding and navigating the 'weather' of changing contexts, cultures, media, values, norms, is also part of the skillset you will need. (Thanks to Caitlin Connors (she/they) for the idea and fun times we had figuring that out!)

If you want to think more about how your organisation can earn trust and avoid distrust, check out the micro-course and toolkit on Greater than Learning. https://lnkd.in/gvpPptT

BTW, I'm off to Cornwall for a week, no more TTFD's until 5th July!
