The importance of trust for tech Governance

cards.jpeg

Trust thought for today - tech regulators need to do more to earn public trust.

Who are the AI regulators for example, how are they considering the part they play in earning the trust which in AI which is much talked about? How is the new regulation of GMOs considering getting trust right this time round? No idea is the answer as they haven't taken it seriously.

What should they be doing? To find out check out the short talk at the TIGTech launch (which I realise I never shared!) and more detail in the three key findings in my report www.tigetch.org.

The talk is here as a pull out clip, together with the full video of the launch featuring also Michelle Patel from the Food Standards Agency on the cutting edge work they are doing, and on trust from Thomas Philbeck then at the World Economic Forum, with Q&A, all facilitated deftly by Sam Brown.
