Empowering yourself to challenge unethical tech

Trust thought for today - I am pondering how distrust with no outlet or alternative course of action is really corrosive and disempowering.

With this in mind on social media harms I have been pondering alternatives. Moving all my phone chat to Signal from WhatsApp, not on Facebook or really Insta. So that will have to do for now.

Thanks to Arnold Schrijver and Mathew Mytka for the link below and their kindness and patience with me asking dumb questions and having to keep explaining what the Fediverse and other innovative collaborative, community building approaches are and in which they are themselves are doing such wonderful work.
