Bullshit is an integrity & so a trust issue!

Trust thought for today - is about trust, integrity and bullshit.

Bullshit is an integrity issue, which I hadn't seen before reading this wonderful & serious academic paper from Prof Ian M. "Confronting indifference toward truth: Dealing with workplace bullshit” .

It explores identifying, classifying & providing a C.R.A.P framework for dealing with BS. (Comprehend, Recognise, Act, Prevent - genius acronym and worth reading to reward that alone!). Thanks Roger Miles for the spot.

"Bullshitting and lying are not synonymous. While the liar knows the truth and wittingly bends it to suit their purpose, the bullshitter simply does not care about the truth."

It makes great sense to me now that the blizzard of bullshit deliberately used to obscure meaning and intent is an important trust issue. Will keep pondering this.

So for fun - what Bullshit Bingo word, phrase or acronym do you hate most deeply? Ian M. love to know yours! I'll make a Bullshit Bingo card, or even a word cloud if we get enough!

(I feel we can now dispense with the obligatory * instead of the i, as he does, now it's a real area of academic study!)
