How to innovate & govern responsibly?

Trust thought for today - to help thinking about trustworthy tech and its governance I thought I do a little promo of a conference from the OECD on 6-7 December. (I'm not speaking!)

Don't be put off by the irritating title "Technology in and for Society. (Good conference, click link for replays)

Innovating well for inclusive transitions" there are some good speakers in there like Sheila Jasanoff from Harvard, a session on inclusivity, one on neurotech, carbon management and the one I will for sure be on for 'upstream tech goverance, soft law, standards and ethics' in Gary Marchant talking about his great project on Soft Law and AI. I have liked all the OECD conferences recently, so hope this is the same.

"This conference seeks to develop a policy agenda to pair the transformative potential of emerging technology with the necessity of good governance: how can we innovate both more and well, i.e. within inclusive processes, with values at the centre, and with lasting positive impact. The multi-stakeholder meeting aims to explore values, design principles, and a possible practical agenda for leveraging good governance for critical sociotechnical transformations. "
