Shocking era of Hyper-surveillance (Copy)

Trust thought for today - Trust first? Not a chance. Reflecting on the ubiquitous shocking, bizarre lack of trust of business in its own employees. Building also on thoughts from previous posts on the stupidity of assuming everything is the fault of individuals not systems.

Examples from this shocker of an article from the Economist. "Awareness Technologies offers software called Veriato, which gives workers a risk score to determine their security risk to an employer, such as being responsible for data leaks or intellectual-property theft. Another, Deepscore, even claims its face and voice-screening tools are able to establish how trustworthy an employee is. WHAT!!!??? How many human rights violated here I wonder.

But I think I have found a new class of bullsh*t. Bullsh*t Tech. Working on a definition.
