Bullshit and meaningless language

Trust thought for today - apologies, just back from hols, so have allowed myself a little self-promo today!

I am enjoying doing workshops with different organisations on their use of bullsh*t language and how it affects them internally and externally. Getting rave reviews from participants and having a lot of fun in the process!

But there is a deadly serious point behind them. Organisation's use of turgid meaningless corporate language or incessant buzzwords and jargon is getting in the way of effective communication, understanding and moral. It is also - my own starting point - eroding trust - do you trust people who you don't understand and who seem like they are trying to manipulate you? Not often.

To know more about that, take a look at two articles on the public sector platform Apolitical

Here is a little more detail on the process of the workshops, which can be online or in person, and tailored to look at specific areas, involve external stakeholders or consider a specific issue of concern.
