The P&O debacle shows that UK labour law needs an overhaul

Like wot I said. Close the loophole, enforce the law.

Good companies doing the right thing struggle to compete with law breakers because of loopholes which should not be allowed in the first place, and should be quickly closed and regulation which is not enforced.

As a participant in a dialogue I quote in my trust and governance report said “it’s not good enough to to say ‘it’s complicated’ - just do your job.”
