All Bullsh*t language is not the same!

Trust thought for today - Enjoyable post on bullsh*t language. Pilita Clark reflecting as I am in the next in my series of BS articles for Apolitical, that all BS is not the same.

Some work jargon is alot worse than others

"much as we all love to hate jargon, some of it goes beyond the laughable and is actively harmful. I am guilty of dwelling on the comic stuff — the core competencies in leveraging paradigm shifts that infect corporate life. Not to mention the tiresome acronyms and abbreviations that turn the simplest message into indecipherable drivel."

I am enjoying, finding out what is the harmful stuff, what is the useful stuff and what all these types of BS are a symptom of. Also going to be challenging the academic BS experts who make the distinction between BS and lying.

Listened to a great Deeply Human Podcast on BBC Sounds at the weekend on the importance and usefulness of lying. Lying is not all bad either. Lots to think about!
