A Primer for the European Commission on Responsible Research & Innovation
Hilary was delighted to be asked, and paid(!) by the European Commission’s DG Research and Innovation to write a 'primer' for policy makers and non-academics on Responsible Research and Innovation. Since its launch in 2011, the report has been downloaded many times and widely acknowledged as an important milestone in generating understanding about Responsible Research and Innovation.
Until summer 2022 the report was available from the European Commission website, but since the Framework and Horizon research sites were archived it is not available.
If you see some strange language glitches these are phrases which the Commission wanted me to include, and which seemed to make sense to them, but not really to me!
